Members of the Commission for Education from the opposition ranks see SBASK's warnings of strike as disturbing, while demanding that as a result of the clash, students not suffer, Online Economy reports.
The Democratic League of Kosovo considers union requirements fair, while the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo demands that the situation with education be discussed in the Assembly.
Democratic League of Kosovo MP Vlora Doshori says of Online Economy, that this warning comes from lack of dialogue between the Government and the Union.
According to Dumosh, the executive is aiming to bring all trade unions under her umbrella. The emphasis is that SBASK's demands are fair, considering high inflation.
This news is not good for students for education in general, but it comes from a lack of dialogue between Government and Education Union. We've seen that they've always been government rejecters and try to get all the unions under their umbrellas and then the problems grow. SBASK's demands have been rising wages, we know we're going through a big crisis where the salary, which is of teachers or educators for their family basket, is low”, Doshori says.
She stressed how the opposition has submitted a requirement for amending the 90s law and to recognise the teacher's contribution at the time.
“Yes, of course, we also have the demand for law change for the 1990s to recognize the contribution of professors and educators at the time who are faced with the share of retirement where they can't fulfil them, and all their vital contributions are not rewarded with an adequate pension”, Dumi said.
Criticising the government's approach to trade unions also includes Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Albena Resiti, but requires students not to be used for
It points out that as a result of the current situation between the Union Government, there is a rift among teachers.
And I'm sure we're going to repeat that we should never victimize knowledge and the learning of our children to solve issues that can be resolved with dialogue and that we can solve by putting responsibility in the acters who should never be subjected to certain matters of education, so I consider the strike unnecessary by giving a negative status lesson to teaching, because in this case, we have a problem and an extraordinary difference that is happening among teachers because such confusing situations are creating which aside from missing teaching is also causing problems in college, and in co-ordination of the very high level of speaking with the country, Rech.
And for the situation in education, Resitaj wants to be discussed in the Assembly. He says party interests should be put aside when it comes to education in Kosovo.
I think there needs to be a lot of changes, it needs to move forward in reforming the educational system, but never using children and lack of teaching. I always need the Assembly to address this issue and I've asked for several times even extraordinary sessions for education in the Republic of Kosovo, and I expect that with our colleagues we will call for a session of education and discuss all the issues, all of the problems we have in our education system in our country because we need beyond the policies of the interests of political parties, to see education and to raise the quality of education in the Republic of Kosovo only when we politically exceed ourselves can achieve positive results in raising the quality of education in the Republic of Kosovo<16>, Recis said. / EO/
