At least 77 people are trapped in all of Taiwan following a powerful earthquake that hit the island's eastern coast, according to the National Fire Agency (NFA).
Authorities gave no details on the situation of the impasses, but said rescue operations were under way, CNN reports, broadcast Clankosova.tv.
The 7.4 magnitude quake has left four people dead and more than 700 others injured, according to the NFA. Of the injured, 132 are in Hualien County, near the quake's era, the agency added.
