Talat Xhaferi, prime minister of Northern Macedonia, in his speech at the 26th anniversary of the Dukagjin Age ceremony, said this epic was the heroic response of the natives to the start of the war in Dukagjin.
Building a country is not easy. Even more difficult is when to build the state, you have to fight and sacrifice the most precious, especially now when it is considered that human civilization must have surpassed the megalomaean appetite yesterday and accepted the universal rights and values upon which contemporary democratic societies develop. But hard lectures tend to repeat for every decade and in such cases aiding and supporting allies and strategic partners is essential and irreplaceable”, Xhaferi said.
He further spoke of the support of internationals, NATO and the US, remembering the first launch of the missile, which, as he said, should be remembered and honoured.
Such was the US war support of NATO, since March 24, 1999, launched the first rocket that also symbolized the launch of air strikes in Kosovo and Serbia. This is also an anniversary to be remembered and honoured”, Xhaferi said among other things.
