VV) Krasniqi, arrested in Bulgaria under suspicion of “trafficking with children”, was illegally appointed to KRU “Gjakova”

The foundation court in Gjakova on January 26th 2024 had declared Hasan Krasniqi's election as chief executive officer at the Regional Water Company “Gjakova” illegal.

“Annuised decision number 64 of the date 13,01.2022 of the K Standing Board of Directors. R.U. “Gjakova” US, on selecting chief executive in KR.U “Gjakova” US”, says the Court's decision.

The indictment in the tribunal over Krasniqi's election had made the person with the M.P. initials.

The court has estimated that illegal acts have been violated in Krasniqi's election.

The “Ven to check that it is not incompatible that the appointment of the executive chief to the NP position made the Board of Directors, but what the court points out is that the appointment to a relevant position by persons who the law has granted competence is done after the development and completion of a competitive procedure that is envisioned with the relevant provisions, in this case, as was meant by the USN07/2017 legal provisions that have adjusted the competition procedure in the public sector that applies to the legal order and the position in which indictments have been applied. Since indicted in the case of successful candidate selection for the EC's position has not followed the pre-law procedures, it turns out the same has been a violation of these US No.07/2017 provisions that regulate the competition procedure in the public sector, which also makes the procedure for successful candidate selection for the position of chief executive chief” against legal decision.

The Court's decision in Gjakova was taken weeks before Hasan Krasniqi was arrested by Bulgarian police at the request of INTERPOL. Krasniqi is being searched by Italy's police under suspicion of trafficking with people. Bulgarian authorities have officially notified Kosovo authorities of Krasniqi's arrest. /View Eye
