Kosovo's “Recognition is a matter of times”, so said Ukraine's Ambassador to Albania Voldymyr Shkurov, who indicated that nothing is impossible but stressed that more are concerned about how they might get out of the war fire. According to him, the issue of recognising Kosovo is more of a political character, where even some elements that may not appear on general lines should be calculated.
News24: Do you think Ukraine should recognise Kosovo now?
Volodyr Shkurov: We know about Kosovo's help and appreciate that assistance. This case is on the agenda. Ukraine today is thinking more about how it will come out of the fire of war and the issue of recognising Kosovo has more political character, where some elements may not appear on general lines should be calculated.
I was at the summit on the 29th. A summit dedicated to developments in the Western Balkans region. Prime Minister Kurti joined online. More than half of the speech was dedicated to Ukraine, and the other half was dedicated to the summit of the 29th. At the summit on the 28th I have spoken with the president of Kosovo, even as a diplomat, and as a man I have been impressed by the warm solidarity that really exists. It is a perception of theology, which can be restricted as the realisation of time. I think the Kosovo issue is in this prism. There is nothing impossible, it simply exists as a matter of time, a matter of time currently.
