AAK parliamentary group chairman Besnik Tahiri has spoken of the PDK's proposal that elections be held on June 9th this year.
He said that, along with the other parliamentary groups, they are in question and will soon have a stance.
“The AAK has the most comfortable position on this subject. We're going to the election as soon as possible. But we think this government should be fired. We have been the first to propose the initiative to dismiss this government or resign. Prime Minister Kurti has surrendered and only one goal is how to find a form to leave the opposition to go to the elections”, Tahiri wrote, broadcast Klakosova.tv.
Tahiri also spoke about the issue of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission's term, which he said would not postpone the mandate for three months of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission for State Reserves, after saying that for two and a half months the VV has been unable to function, it is a violation of democracy and a limit to opposition scope in the assembly.
“This is a very dangerous precedent for democracy, for parliamentary life, so that the majority may narrow down parliamentary investigation into a very problematic topic”, he said.
