In an answer to the Express Journal, MPJ has said it has been detained on February 19th, at the border crossing “Gyushevo”
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo confirms that in support of official information accepted by the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Bulgaria, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo (H.K) has been banned on February 19th, 2024 at the cross border crossing point “Gyushevo””, MPJ said.
The same one was detained after being sought by Interpol.
The State of the Republic of Kosovo has been banned since the same person is supposed to be wanted by Interpol”, it says in response.
The Express has contacted today CRU spokeswoman “Gjakova”, Dafina Syla-Dina, who has said Krasniqi is on an annual vacation. According to her, he went on an annual vacation that “5-6 days”, until he said he had no further information on it.
The chief chief is to use the annual holiday. I have no more information on this matter. It's taking advantage of the annual holiday, it doesn't have to be heard. I don't have official information. It's about 5-6 days.
“Reporter” has reported today that the same was arrested in Bulgaria, on the basis of an international warrant issued by Italian police for allegedly trafficking in human beings.
The allegations are that Krasniqi, who also owns a bus transport company from Gjakova to European countries, allegedly smuggled people through it with counterfeit documents. Consequently, according to Italian authorities, 57-year-old Gjakova is involved in three different criminal acts.
Italy's arrest warrant against Krasniqi was issued a month earlier, on 16 January 2024.
Hasan Krasniqi, three months after the Vetvendosje Movement candidate for Asamblist in the Gjakova municipality had failed to get enough votes to elect asamblis in January 2022, was appointed by the Kosovo government chief chief of the Regional Water Company “Gjakova”.
The Law on Public Enterprises is designed to ensure that senior officials of public enterprises are independent, that they do not have political commitments in the last 36 months.
However, in 2014 to 2017, Krasniqi had been for a mandate within the Gjakova Assembly by the ranks of the Alternative Party . . . . . But, just as in 2021 with LVV, he had failed to re-elected an assemblyist in 2017.
