Smaqi: Family concerned about the health of Hasan Dalay, arrested by Serbia

“We are constantly in contact with the lawyer who, under official duty, has appointed the Serbian state. He expires the second month he's been kidnapped on March 3rd, and the latest information is disturbing to the fact that after his visit by his family, they have noticed a haematoma on Hasan Dakaj's brow, which is unknown from what has been caused. We consider that physical violence has been exerted against him”, he said.

Lawyer Smakqi stressed that they have asked the Kosovo government, MPJD, the Belgrade taskman to inform every international organisation, mediators in Brussels, the Fund for Humanitarian Law in Serbia, and the Red Cross in his case.

We will now seek as a lawyer for Hasan Dajaj's family to also visit the International Red Cross, or other organisations dealing with protecting human rights and freedoms in the absence of a government care and our state”, he said.

Smakqi stressed that the Dakaj family is also concerned about the fact that communication with her except for the visit allowed to his wife and son, there is no regular communication.

According to him, keeping him in custody, respectively, in implying that he is in danger even for life.

“We hope that the Government of Serbia has wrongly kidnapped it because no one has identified Hasan Dalaj as a suspect in the case Serbia's Prosecutor for Serbia”, he underlined. / RTK
