The police are waiting for the March 1st meeting with Svechla, Zeqiri: If it doesn't happen this week I don't know why it should be held.

A meeting was set to take place on March 1st between Police Chief Emer Zeqiri and Interior Minister Xhelal Svechla, but the same was not realised.

It's been 11 days since the chief police union is awaiting a meeting with Svechla.

Zeqiri says he is unaware of why this meeting is being postponed.

He told Front Online they are waiting for this week to come true.

We've been waiting since March 1st, but we have no call from the minister. We do not know why this promised encounter is not taking place. If it doesn't happen again this week, I don't know why it should be held in”, Zeqiri told Front Online.
