In the first case, police investigators from the central sector in Pristina have identified a suspect in involvement in narcotics trafficking and have secured car records used by the suspect.
Police say it is believed that the value of confiscated narcotics is around 175 thousand euros.
“On 06.03.24, around 7 p.M., in PKK-Culte, they have stopped the car and during the search inside of the car, twelve packages were found, suspected to be narcotic substances of total heroin type 6314 grams (6kg of 314 kg), and from suspected S.T., (30th year, Kosovo male) have also been confiscated: two mobile phones and 585 euros. Police, under the prosecutor's authorisation, have also conducted control in the suspect's home, where other relevant evidence has been found and seized in the case, such as narcotics expectant machinery, mixer for narcotics, 700 pounds of heroin, and other evidence. It is thought that the value of confiscated narcotics is about 175 thousand (an estimated seventy - five thousand) euros. The suspect has been escorted to the police, interviewed in the presence of the defence attorney, and with the prosecutor's decision prohibited up to 48 hours”, the police report said.
In the second case, police say that through operational investigative routes, information has been provided that several suspects are doing narcotics trading.
Police have identified the car with which suspects were moving in, who, at 06.03.2024, around 1600 in Pristina, have been detained for control. During the search of the car and persons in it, the substance suspected of narcotics has been found, (17 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of marijuana) and 2,335 euros.
“Police have secured warrants from justice bodies and have realised control on two properties of the suspect M.J., (born year 1971, the Kosovo male), where evidence was found and seized: two bags (dose) of cocaine weighing two grams, as well as a pistol and a six-pike clip. During the police operation have also been arrested: B.S., (year of birth 1993, Kosovo male), and A.J., (year of birth 1993, Kosovo male). During the implementation of these cases, the central sector of investigations has co-operated closely with border officials, rule officials, the unit being- K9 and the seedy. ”
Three suspects have been sent to maintenance, while one has been released in regular procedure.
