Police caught them preparing car-seven-man races at Prizren station

Seven people were escorted to the police after being detained in Prizren by police preparing for speed races and were collecting money for the bets, writes Periscopi.

Through a police report, the drivers and cars have been escorted to police stations.

With the date 08 and 10/03/2024, police patrols at the Prizren Regional Road Traffic Unit and the Prizren North Police Station, based on information accepted about the suspicion of organising speed races near the entrance of the Prizren-veri highway, have interviewed and encountered several vehicles and persons who were preparing for speed races and were collecting money for betting.
Driveers along with cars have been escorted up to relevant police stations and following consultation with the Guardian Prosecutor, against 7 (seven) criminal proceedings for criminal work “Organising pyramid schemes” and “Cause of total risk “.
Speed racing organisation is a dangerous and illegal activity so Kosovo Police will not tolerate and act against organisers and participants whenever there is information on such organisation.
