Peach: It is important that dialogue does not cease, even small steps should be welcomed

Great Britain's envoy for the Western Balkans, Stuart Peach, said Great Britain supports dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and all efforts for normalisation and reconciliation, because this is an important issue in the region and therefore he believes it is necessary to welcome even small steps [...]
“We are not part of the European Union dialogue (BE), but we support it and also support both governments to work together to work together for the multiethnic future of Kosovo and Serbia,”, Peach told the Atlantic Council.
Peach estimated that the most important thing is that the dialogue has not been interrupted and that it is important to welcome the small steps that have been taken.
“We call on both sides to respect the agreements that have already been concluded and to move towards normalisation”, he said.
Saying he knows both Aleksandar Vuciqi and Albin Kurti very well, Peach said he encourages them to sit down together when it is appropriate to do so and move towards a better future for both countries”.
When it comes to forming the Association, Peach said Great Britain continues to encourage Kosovo to fulfil its international obligations.
