Today in Paris the Baconannis report is discussed with the recommendation for CoE membership.

Today, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is expected to convene in Paris. The meeting will be held between 2:30 and 17:30.

Exactly on the agenda of the Commission for Policy and Democracy, it is said that in order of day, the statute's opinion on the application for membership set out in May 12th, 2022, addressed to the Council of Europe's Secretary General, in line with the Stability Resolution (51) 30.

Kosovo Chief Diplomat Donika Grovall from New York has also been declared for the meeting. The quorum issue has been raised due to the possibility that MPs would not travel to Paris because of the Easter holiday.

We think that if tomorrow the quorum needed to address the application for Kosovo, then we think that such a requirement will be approved by the report” has said Gervala.

If the report is approved today, the issue of Kosovo's membership in the KiE passes to the Parliamentary Assembly, then its word in May will say the Committee of Ministers.
