Opposition VV's red lines rule out coalition opportunity with the ruling party

Opposition parties have placed “red video” Vetevendosje Movement. None of the parliamentary opposition wants to co-operate with Albin Kurti's party for the future government, Online Economy reports.

PDK, LDK and AAK MPs have said of Online Economy, that their preference is to go to elections alone, while preferring the opposition bloc.

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Raspi Qalaj says of Online Economy that this party prefers going on alone in the elections. He says the priority is to get the country in the election as soon as possible because of the bad governance.

“You know that party chairman Mr. Krasniqi and all party structures, including deputies and members of the leadership... are constantly calling for elections. For us, it is a priority to get to the elections as soon as possible because of the bad leadership of the current government and we aim that with the candidate we have now made official for prime minister and with all national Democratic Party commitments, we win elections as soon as elections are held is good because I'm still saying we have a total degradation in the lives of citizens. As far as coalitions are concerned, the Democratic Party of Kosovo will come out alone and will aim to take over Macedonia”, says Qalaj.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has also voiced itself against a coalition with Vetevendosje. AAK MP Time Kadriaj says of Online Economy they have proposed making an opposition bloc and that interest is in making coalitions with opposition parties.

We haven't discussed it, but we haven't put red lines, but I'm saying from the past it's been practical that political parties have put red lines of co-operation or in coalition with other parties, because those coalitions have also taken place because we've discussed while more open we are for coalitions with parties that are now in opposition”, says Kadriaj.

We will not make a pre-election coalition. We've made several coalitions with those we thought should make it pre-election. We've done with the Social Democrat Initiative, we've done with a group of intellectuals “Europe 2030”, we've done with a conservative party, we're open to parties that are now in the opposition there won't be red lines”, she said.

While from the Democratic League of Kosovo, along with co-operation with the ruling party, they prefer that the electorate be directed alone.

LDK MP Rzazarta Krasniqi tells Online Economy that this party will be the winner of the national elections, as happened in local elections. Optimistically, the next prime minister will be Lumir Abdixhiku.

“And we haven't talked about coalitions because the LDK will come first as it did in the local elections and we haven't discussed anything because we're going out first and we're also going out because you know that six months after the government that won 51 percent, we're out of the first party in the local elections. We're prepared for elections, we've made a program of LDK. Earlier something the ruling party has not been willing to do now that it is in government. It has taken us two years to prepare a programme that has 100 projects in service of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I hope the LDK will be the first so the next prime minister will be Lumir Abdixhiku”, Krasniqi said. / EO/
