Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that, during his rule, twice as many young people have been employed in the labour market.
Kurti also suggests that 1.2 billion euros over the past three years have been distributed to citizens and businesses through various measures, says the debt of bills unpaid by previous governments for goods and services has decreased, business circulation has increased to 59 percent.
Furthermore, he adds that Bruto Product has also increased for 3 billion euros.
For these achievements, the prime minister said they are proud and vigilant.
“The task is higher than it ever was. There are twice as many young people employed in the job market as we did when we took office. Close to 10,000 young people between the ages of 18 and 29 have been employed through the government platform Superpuda. Over 12,000 women have been hired through our direct measures and support. Direct Foreign Exports and Investments have doubled”, Kurti wrote on Facebook.
“In three years of governance we re-enter about 1.2 billion euros of citizens and businesses through numerous measures, without creating new debts. We have had the largest support package in the Balkan region for citizens in the face of inflation and the energy crisis, as a percentage of the World Bank's Bruto Product. Capital spending last year marked record value of 555m euros executed. While we have the public debt at the lowest level in Europe”.
In 2020, bills paid by past governments for goods and services received from businesses have been worth 140m euros. At the end of last year, this debt has been reduced to only 33 million. The circulation of businesses in 2023 was 58% higher than it was in 2019, the pre-invisibility year”.
“Bruto Local Product has amounted to 9.6 billion euros, up from 6.7 billion euros when we received governance under ʹ so 3 billion euros more for three years of governance, with minimum deficit. Governments in the past needed three years to add 1 billion euros to the economy, and through debts and the exploitation of funds collected from privatisation”.
For these and more, we are proud and open-handed. Three years later, citizens' enthusiasm for our government is our will to serve. Their trust in our government is the highest appreciation for the work so far and inspiration for the work that goes on”.
