Prof. Dr. Nexmerdin Spahiu was a math student when I taught his department. Generations in front of him where Dr. Marjan Demaj and Dr. Ramadan Zeynep was taught. So I had a chance to get to know Nexemedin as an excellent student in the '80s.
Many years later, in the 1990s, when I was a professor in Pittsburgh, U.S.A., I came to Tirana to lecture, organized by Prof. Rexhep Meidani, later president of Albania. He told me that a talent from Kosovo that he studied for postgraduate studies in Zagreb had chosen as Docent, at the Department of Mathematics, near the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Tirana. It was a pleasant surprise when I met Doc Nextin and talked to him as old friends.
My friend Rexhepi and prof.dr. Dritan Spahiu was told that Nedmedini, besides a brilliant mathematician in front of Tirana students, writes political articles for the most powerful newspapers of the time in Tirana. I had the opportunity to meet Sabri Godon, a prominent patriotic political figure in Tirana and head of the Republican Party. He told me that Docent Nexmedini's political writings are at the top of Albania's most clever demographic writings then.
Political science and practice have shown that many famous politicians and diplomats have their educational bases in exact mathematical-natural sciences. Benjamin Fraklin (the most famous diplomat of all time, who represented the U.S. in France, was also the discovery of the rephepressor, that is. A physicist, J. Carter, the Nobelist and the president of the United States was a nuclear physicist, Merkel, Sollana, but also Rexhep Mejidani were physicists, mathematician-teoric physics.
This seeming paradoxical phenomenon has a scientific basis: the cognitive part of the human brain, with lessons in algebra, differential equations, abstract space, with mathematical scientific teachings, develop extraordinary brain capacity for political analysis. Understandably, the capacities in question should increase political, socioeconomic knowledge and theories.
Prof.dr. Nexmedin Spahiu, along with the doctorate in mathematics, has additional degrees in postgraduate studies in the field of politics, where he has perfected field methodology in question. He taught as a professor at Hamburg University in Germany, in the midst of political science. He has published dozens of books and hundreds of articles in political science. I agree with prolyticist S. Godo that Professor Spahiu is a man with the highest political scientific skills in Albanian territories. He has devoted decades of his life exclusively to political studies and activities. It's a pleasure and a privilege that Prof. Dr. Jededdin Spahiu used to be a student, but now my friend and colleague.
