Mustafa i PDK reacts to Minister Murati: Positive true results, however, can be found

Department for Finance co-ordinator at the PDK's Cabinet for Good Governance Arben Mustafa has reacted to Finance Minister Iron Murati, who spoke of unprecedented levels of capital investments. Economist The PDK published another graph from the minister's.

Mustafa wrote on Facebook that Murati is doing “riumipulation of unscrupulous”. This, according to him, shows the government's “desperate need” to find any results “that could sell the public as positive”.

“Presenting the level of capital investments in 2023 as historic success is a unscrupulous manipulation and shows the desperate need for this government to find any results that can sell the public as positive. Unfortunately for Kosovo, genuine positive results cannot be found because they have none! ”, he searched.

The value of capital expenditures of 2023, Mustafa said that “is similar to the level of capital expenditures in 2012, when Kosovo's budget has been half that of 2023”.

If we take into account inflation of about 30% since 2012, then we understand that 2023 capital investments even worth less than those in 2012 for about 30% in real terms.
In 2012, 38.5% of the budget went for capital investments which are necessary for development and prosperity, while in 2023 capital investments represent less than 20% of total expenditures”, he wrote.
