As women's day's first recognition was held on February 28, 1909 in New York. March 8 was suggested by the International Women's Conference 1910 to become a “International Days of Women”.
After women received the right to vote in Soviet Russia in 1917, a national holiday took place there on March 8th. The day was largely dominated by the socialist movement and Communist countries until it was adopted in 1975 by the United Nations.
The idea of the International Women's Day “was first launched at the beginning of the XIX century, which was a period shaken by unrest and population growth, for the industrialized world.
8 Mars is known as “Women's Day”, worldwide. In various countries this day is even celebrated as a national holiday. This day serves not only to unite women indiscriminately, race, culture, language, and background but also to remind of efforts to equality, peace, justice, and construction in nearly 9 decades.
