Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia has said that based on planning for 2024, the Demining Company of the Kosovo National Security Forces Guard has launched a humanitarian demining operation on clearing mines and battlefields.
Through a Facebook post, Macedonia has said that this year the demining units will be engaged in cleaning up three locations on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
“Demining units will be engaged in cleaning up in the village of Muradem, top of Cvilen, in the Prizren area and Freedom Park, in Ferizaj, will also offer custody 24/7 for removing unbroken vehicles, which can be encountered by citizens”, Macedonia has said.
