In a Writing Answer KFOR, said there were no joint activities by KFOR and the Kosovo Security Force in the northern part of the country.
There have been no joint activities by KFOR and the Kosovo Security Force. Consultative and Interconnector Team NATO, which is a special entity by KFOR, continues its support for further development of security organisations in Kosovo, through capacity building, education and training co-ordination activities, in line with the original civilian emergency of the Kosovo Security Force”, says KFOR's response.
KFOR, among other things, has added that any deployment of the Kosovo Security Forces in northern Kosovo requires the consent of KFOR commander and that it requires respect from Kosovo institutions.
” We welcome institutions in Kosovo for the continued respect of this commitment. We expect long-term consultations on any action by the Kosovo Security Force or the Kosovo Police that could affect regional security”, the KFOR's regime says.
KFOR has said that KFOR commander remains in close contact with all of his key counterparts, including representatives of Kosovo security organisations, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia, EULEX, the UN, the OSCE and the diplomatic body.
The opposite is what KFOR said at RTV21 Deputy Defence Minister Shemsy Syla has declared that our soldiers have been in the country's north for various activities that have been held.
” We've had activities together in the northern part, it's not like our soldiers there were”, Syla said,
