The verbal tension created every time Edi Rama faces journalist Ambrozia Meta escalated into an unwanted physical touch this Tuesday, during a campaign in the courtyard of the Socialist Party, where the prime minister, unwillingly, exceeded the limits of ethics in dealing with journalists. The incident was accompanied by numerous reactions from journalists' associations, who viewed the prime minister's move as an attempt to intimate.
It must be said that at the moment of the incident, Syri Tv's journalist immediately showed the disappointment with the prime minister's protracted hand towards her face. It is viewed as instinctively attracted to words No, please don't touch me! Video below:
After the event, Ambrozia Meta told BIRN that “Unfortunately the usual arrogance against journalists, Prime Minister Rama, is now demonstrating it with physical touch”. Commenting on what happened, she added that she regretted that The head of government cannot control yourself when asked about matters of public interest”
On the other hand, Rama refused to apologize. He called physical touch to journalist one “ that happened in front of her colleagues and the live broadcast of cameras, the circumstances that close to your mind exclude the physical attack.
Not only was there anything near an aggression, but I answered all the questions patiently (no matter what your artistic interruptions) in a common conversation with the press and left after one Friendly goodbye?”He wrote Rama to X, refusing to apologize for the gesture.
Despite the prime minister's interpretation, his move was evidently an expression of nervousness about questions that he did not control. Even in the few lines he threw into X to respond to the concern of journalists' associations, it is easy to discern his frustration with journalists.
Rama confirms this when he accuses the journalist of saying a “completely disgusting lie” and when mentioning “Non-ethical cuts” i n “out of any standard” That's when he talks. In the following footage, where Rama's full pronouncement is, in some cases he pauses and replicates with the journalist who remembers her manners and tries to Intimitate her by saying that she is simply an observer of questions, which, according to him, are formulated elsewhere.
But for anyone who has looked carefully at Rama's full pronosis today, another vital detail that brought Rama out of control is noted.
It is true that since the beginning of the pronociation, journalist Ambrozia Meta retorted the “scene to her colleagues, asking the prime minister a series of difficult questions. As for the absence of a study that would show how much Albanians benefit from the Kouchner project in Saban; or the version of the land forgiveness and taxes as it did in Durres; or the concern Rama is exploiting the Sanan project to be near the Trump family in the function of his career.
But after Ambrozia Meta received almost 10 minutes of interrogation, Rama decided to end his communication with him. The ear picks up the question of one of the reporters on his left side. Look at the video below how he turns his back on Ambrozia Meta in a demonstration way, hoping to put an end to the questions they suggest for a secret market in Saban at the expense of Albanians.
To his surprise, however, journalist Raziela Myslimaj continues the same line of thought. “When was the idea of this project Mr. Prime Minister, during Ivanka Trump's visit last year? She tells him. What? ” surprised the prime minister.
Her question suggests that the project is a secretly negotiated agreement, during Kouchner's private visits to Tirana, in ignoring state procedures. Rama avoids and awaits the next question.
The peak of tension is given to journalist Andon Callo, who mentions the facts revealed by the New York Times. “has been talked about the involvement of Shefqet Kastrati in this project. Have you talked to Richard Green about Saman? Callo asked. Video below:
The Prime Minister takes a step back. He had returned to this side of journalists to avoid Ambrosian, but he found even more bitter harassment. He takes a step and tries to relate the facts. Callo remembers them “E says New York Times...”.
Rama releases a few cliches, kind of doing the job like “Worthy representation of the Albanian people who do not negotiate personal interests, just as they did in the port of Durres”. This is Ambrose Meta reminding him once again that there is no one in Durres “investing”But they're just selling apartments in the hole.
This is when Rama reaches out to the face of the journalist. More than a friendly “ ” as he calls it, the action was an instinct attempt to shut up. Not only because, with his answers, Rama does not convince anyone that he is representing the interests of taxpayers in the Saban project.
Rather, the questions are exciting and are not just of Ambrozia, the journalist Rama has regularly clashed with. Like her, others have the same doubts; that Saban will be forgiven for the accounts of Eddie Rama and the benefits in his political career. /Lapsy.al
