The United States Ambassador to Belgrade, Christopher Hill, has given support to the European Union's emissary (BE) for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
According to Hill, Lajcak has US support, despite what he says “some complain”. Hill has participated in the inauguration of Wolfgang Petritsch's book “The construction of the ages of our authoritarian digital century” where he has made comments.
Earlier, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti had complained of unilateral access to the European emissary in the dialogue process.
But Hill thinks otherwise, according to him, Lajcak has the correct approach to dialogue, Tanjug reported.
“Lajcak tries to present logic in the approach to the whole process Kosovo needs good relations with its neighbours, Serbia does not need continued tensions, logic would be the process of normalisation, and that should be logical for resolving the Kosovo issue. “said Hill.
