Haradinaj: UP's students at the 1981 demonstrations shaken the foundations of the then regime

The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has remembered the 1981 demonstrations, now when they are 45 years old.

“was March 11th of 1981, when students of the University of Pristina stood up against Yugoslav oppression, shaking the foundations of the then regime. Today we honor those who gave their fists to Yugoslav oppression, honor the fallen ones of those glorious days of our history”, Haradinaj wrote.

The heroic Albanian youth, writes Haradianj, inspired by the ideal of the 1981 protesters, would shine on the Istikas of the Liberation War, which brought victory and liberation.
