Haliti: Kurt explains whether he became a traitor or should ask forgiveness for those he has called traitors

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Xhavit Haliti has said the prime minister, Albin Kurti, should make clear whether he became a traitor”, following the order he gave the Cadastral Agency to implement the Constitutional Court's decision to recognise the right to 24 hectares of the Decani Monastery, or to seek forgiveness for those who [...]

Haliti has reaffirmed that Kurti should explain public opinion and apologize to those he has called traitors.

We have been bombarded for years on charges of betraying past governments. As for this issue, I'm not talking about the rest, but about these lands around the Decani Monastery, first. The second, almost even the Constitutional Court in some way has been reviled, has been denigrated, considering that it has committed treason”, Haliti said in “Dukagjin's <x1.

Now this must explain whether he has become and this traitor or should apologize to those he has called traitors, a politician or a prime minister of the country, a democratic country is bound to be clarified before the opinion... or to become this traitor, or to say that they have not been traitors, but are doing it as a necessary act of”, He added Haliti.

Today, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that he has ordered the Cadastral Agency to implement the Constitutional Court's decision to recognise the Decani Monastery's right to property of 24 hectares. Kurt once called this decision Milosevic, but against him was his party centre in Decani, writes Periscopi.

For that decision, there have been numerous reactions to the fact that the Vetevendosje Movement has strongly rejected such a decision. Even since 2016, the Centre of Vetevendosje in Decani had issued a communiqué called “Against Earth's Forgiveness Decani Monastery”

“Movement Centre EVIDENCE! In Decani disputes the Constitutional Court's decision regarding properties shared by the Decani monastery, and once backed the controversial joint declaration adopted on May 25th 2016 at the Decani Municipal Assembly, where all political subjects associated with the Historians' League signed the pledge to go against that decision. This Constitutional Court decision is unacceptable because in addition to expropriating companies' workers “iliria” and “Apico” referring to 1997 legislation where these properties under violent occupation terms were carried under the ownership of the Decani Monastery, legitimized also the fascist, colonising and genocide policies of Serbia towards Kosovo and Albanians<5>, it was said among other things in their announcement. /Periscopi/
