Gjakova, gunfire fired at a bar three wounded

The news has confirmed Sheremet Elezaj, Kosovo Police spokesperson for the Gjakova region.

He said the shooting took place at a bar in Gjakova. Suspect of the act is on the run.

“Today around 00:10 p.m., we've received information about shooting guns at a bar on the “Feline Noli” in Gjakova, where three people (major men) have suffered injuries allegedly caused by firearms. Police have immediately responded to the case and the victims were offered medical treatment, from first accepted information, their health situation is stable. Currently, we are conducting the necessary investigative procedures in the direction of the case dawning and apprehending the suspect. In consultation with the state prosecutor the case has been initiated “attempted genocide” and “ownership, non-authorised possession of weapons”, Elesaj said.
