The Gilabians invade the AKI, accept greater in this institution's competition

It's been a year since the Kosovo Intelligence Agency had opened a competition for the job admission of several young éspiunas. Periscop sources show that the majority of those selected for admission are from the Gjilan region, where the chief of AKI comes from. For this very reason, the Parliamentary Supervisor Commission had invited the head of this institution, Petit Ajetin, to report.

A year ago, the Kosovo Intelligence Agency called for various profiles such as Intelligence, IT, Programming, Cybernetic, Physical Security and administrative Support Services.

The procedure seems to have been in order, until the moment of deciding who should eventually be admitted to work in this Kosovo security institution. Looks like that's where politics got their hands on.

Periscop sources have confessed that from the number of people who have already carried out all the procedures and have been admitted to AKI (but have not yet started work) half of them come from the Gjilan region, from which comes Kosovo Intelligence Agency Director Petrit Ajeti himself.

“From the total number of admissions in the latest competition, 40 percent come from the Gjilan region”, He said a source for Periscope..

Another source has shown in detail that people who are close to retirement have been accepted in this competition, under the Kosovo Agency for Intelligence law, which has nothing to do with the profile required in the latest AKI competition.

Sadriu and Ajjeti both are from the city of Gjilan.

What does the Parliamentary Commission know about monitoring AKI employment?

For the job the director of AKI, the deputy director, but also the chief inspector in AKI, is a parliamentary supervisory commission, where, depending on circumstances and security situations, all three are invited to report on the work of this institution.

Periscop has contacted some members of the Commission for Supervising the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.

Arben Gashi, MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, has confirmed to Periscopi that he was invited to report to AKI director Petrit Ajeti.

“I don't know much about the competition, we called the director's report (Pertor Ajetin), he has rejected this information”, LDK deputy Arben Gashi said of Periscope.

Another member of the Commission that supervised the work of Kosovo's Fridon Lala has told Periscope that there is no information about the contest in question, however, has suggested that whoever has become unfair is wise to complain to responsible bodies.

I haven't accepted any complaints as a member of the Commission, but if there are any, it's good to encourage that you're addressing the responsible bodies for using the right to complaint. We as the supervisory commission not only this process, but each process within the AKI is monitored and will continue the same”, Lala said.

And what could possibly have fuller information on the competition in question, the chairman of the Commission for AKI Supervision Ganimete Musliu has temporarily given up her posts due to health problems.

But, the AP reported, from its sources that in addition to irregularities with the latest employment competitions, where the Vetvendosje Movement militants -- the opposition is expected to form parliamentary commission for investigation -- Ajjeti is allowing other irregularities.

Petit Ajeti was named director of AKI on April 15th of 2021, replacing incumbent leader Vlora Hyseni, who was later appointed by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, director of the State Intelligence Service.

Ajeti has work experience in various secondary capacities in the Kosovo Ministry of Defence as an official for co-ordinating foreign defence investments and taskeering the chief of the sector for Euro-Atlantic integration.
