Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman in German Bundestag Michael Roth has criticised the US for setting extra criteria for joining the Council of Europe. He said this unbalanced approach to Kosovo should be completed.
It is completely incomprehensible that the US sets extra conditions for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe. This unbalanized approach by the US towards Kosovo should eventually be completed. It's fair and it's unfair. The Council of Europe and member states sat in the driver's seat, not the US”.
It's completely incompatible that the four sets support for Kosovo has arrived in the Council of Europe. This unbalanced application by the US Towards Kosovo must finally stop. It's unfair and unjust. The @coe And it's remember stables site in the driver seas ? https://t.co/mi89SJ5AOx

Roth wrote on the X until he re-entered a post by his Bundestag colleague, Frank Schwabe, who also commented on American emissary Gabriel Escobar, who said that in addition to the decision on the Decani Monastery, Kosovo must meet two more conditions, including association.
With all due respect for the US special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, the Council of Europe is making possible things that others could not achieve. And we will decide for Kosovo's application for membership according to our rules and values”, Schwabe wrote.
With all due response to the US Special Environment to the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, the Council of Europe is making things possible that others could not afford. And we will kill on Kosovo's application for anymore based on our own rules and flows. @socpace @ PACE News
