Freedom Mehmetaj after interview: My indictment is from Dimal Basha

Journalist, Freedom Mehmetaj, has said that the indictment was made by the experts of power, so MP from the Vetevendosje Movement ranks, Dimal Basha, until she stressed that during the interview, the prosecutor of the case was “concerned”, and the same one offered “aiding “if we were found under pressure from someone.

These comments, journalist Mehmetaj has made them in a media proposal, following an interview by the prosecutor of the case, Rukije Shasivar, who invited the journalist to the quality of the defendant for criminal work “inciting division and insubordination”.

Mehmetaj, in front of the media, has stressed that during the interview he has offered help to the random prosecutor, who if there is pressure from someone, the media will be on his side to expose anyone who has urged him to do so.

I didn't have what I said, I didn't even get a lawyer, because I don't treat the legal process regularly. I told the prosecutor to help him, I told whoever put pressure on him, we're on your side, and we can exhibit the kind of blackmail that you're being forced to engage in this experience, that can be given a career, a drop of money”, he said.

Asked who has the indictment, he has made it known that the same was done by the MP, as he called it, “fasist” Basha.

“Mu has been criminalizing me with power, through fascist MP Dimal Basha. Basha has made a claim that some citizens of a Kosovo region have been missing something from some citizens, he means that the citizens of Drenica who come to Pristina should not have increased demands, as he says, they are begging to warm up”, he added.

According to journalist Mehmetaj, after exposing the fascist language, he is accused of creating “insubordination and division”.

This fascist language was executed, I ended up here, imagine what kind of accusation, that I've created a lack of patience and division... the prosecutor has seen that it's a nightmare, that it's not comfortable. Now maybe there's a dilemma I wouldn't have seen anyone.

Regarding the case of journalist Mehmetaj, there have been numerous reactions from civil society, important public personalities, the opposition, the Association of Journalists of Kosovo, etc., who unanimously condemned the prosecutor's move to summon the AP editor-in-chief to the quality of the defendant for criminal work “inciting division and non-compliance”.
