The Earth went to the Monastery but Kurti where he's going...”, wrote Tahir.
Today, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that he has ordered the Cadastral Agency to implement the Constitutional Court's decision to recognise the Decani Monastery's right to property of 24 hectares. Kurt once called this decision Milosevic, but against him was his party centre in Decani, writes Periscopi.
For that decision, there have been numerous reactions to the fact that the Vetevendosje Movement has strongly rejected such a decision. Even as early as 2016, the Decan Centre of Vetevendosje had issued a communique at the time called “Against the Forgiveness of Lands Decani Monastery”
“Movement Centre EVIDENCE! In Decani disputes the Constitutional Court's decision regarding properties shared by the Decani monastery, and once backed the controversial joint declaration adopted on May 25th 2016 at the Decani Municipal Assembly, where all political subjects associated with the Historians' League signed the pledge to go against that decision. This Constitutional Court decision is unacceptable because in addition to expropriating company workers “iliria” and “Apico” referring to 1997 legislation where these properties under violent occupation conditions were carried under the ownership of the Decani Monastery, legitimized also the fascist, colonising and genocide policies of Serbia towards Kosovo and Albanians”, It said among other things in their announcement. /Periscopi/
