European Union spokesman Peter Stano said there was not much work that has been done in place because of the positions of both Kosovo-Serbia sides.
“We never warn the agendas of any future meeting within the dialogue of Pristina and Belgrade, whether of the top negotiators or of the highest level. I can tell you one thing: Unfortunately there wasn't much work done that was done, because of the positions of both sides”, the station said at the conference.
As for meeting between the top suspects in Banjska, Milan Radojic, with Marko Djuric, Serbia's ambassador to the United States, Stano has said it does not belong to comment “any meeting” and that they are awaiting a final official investigation report.
The “does not belong to us to comment on each meeting of members of the Serbian administration who hold on to different people. I think what you meet reflects on you specifically when you meet, specifically, with a suspect in criminal acts. But when the Alidon in Banjska: the EU's position remains unchanged: we are expecting an official final investigation report and then we will see how to handle responsibility. For now we have not seen such a report here in Brussels”, Stano said.
It adds that the main priority of the EU is for the parties to start applying, in trust, what they are dedicated to.
Our main priority is to start applying, in trust, what they're dedicated to. Without discussing procedural steps, what is the top priority is to make sure that implementation starts as soon as possible. That's where we're focused, and that's what we can comment as much as necessary, but for procedures we're not going to do. We've said many times during the dialogue process, preparations in individual steps, individual phases are something that is supposed to be addressed in the labour process, and work is generally not done and we can't comment every day”, he said.
