Current municipalities in the north will not run in new elections

Just two days before a year since they were elected, the voting process will be organised for the dismissal of four mayors in the northern municipality on 21 April.

The mayors say they worked as hard as they could, but do not believe they will run for this position again.

Political parties have so far not been declared whether they will have candidates or who they will be.

The look from the window was his only form to see what was happening outside the municipality for about a year.

Leposaviqi Mayor Lulzim Hetemi was looking out the window of the northern town leading him.

But after the petition was signed by 20 percent of the citizens of his municipality, Hetem is convinced that the number of votes to download will also be collected.

I have so far been convinced that they can't achieve, but I'm sure they have a referendum to reach, because we're seeing that the Serbian state is also engaged here. I am convinced that the Government of Serbia has to bring those Serbs working in Serbia, and it has more organized and have to pass referendum”, Hetemi has said.

Leposaviqi's first, who spent the first seven months of his term confined to the municipality, relates whether he will re-advancing for the mayor's post.

I don't think I'm going to run anymore, it's in vain”, he said.

In contrast, Zvecan's local leader expresses sceptical, that votes for his dismissal will be achieved.

But if this is accomplished, Ilir Peci is ready to re-advancing for the mayor's position.

“For 20 percent we have days, as far as 50 per cent plus 1 absolute has no chance of gathering, if only the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo can come and vote like other times from Serbia, we can go even a hundred percent, but if it is estimated only the citizens of Kosovo, the Zvecan Community cannot possibly reach 50 plus 1 votes. If the party is interested in being a candidate again, to support us, so you're willing to recando- I believe you're going to be”, Peci said.

RTK tried to get an answer from the Serbian List about its participation in the event elections are organised, but contact with them was impossible.

According to Administrative Guide, if 50 percent +1 of citizens on the voters' list vote in favour of the chairman's departure, then he is dismissed.
