Conjufca: We need to find the best mode for the dinar so that local Serbs do not feel threatened

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, after completing the Assembly of the Parliament's Headship, has also talked about straining reports with the US on the dinar issue. He has said that the US response is related precisely to the dinar, not to association.

The vice-president has further said the US has expressed disagreement over the time and speed with which the decision has been made, seeking consultations with the Serb community.

He has said the US is opposing the legality of the decision.

I don't think that's it. More was the dinar issue, which has led to this US reaction. The government has provided its own explanations, which is good enough that our differences are only about time and speed, perhaps, could have more time. They have asked for more consultations with the Serb community living in northern Kosovo, but the legality of the decision is not countering”, Konjufca has said.

Konjufca has said that the currency decision is Kosovo's right and that the best mode for implementation must be found to stop the poor practice of introducing the dinar to Kosovo so that at the same time the Serb community does not feel threatened or destabilised by the decision.

“this is a Kosovo right that we need to find the best mode of how it applies to benefit everyone, to stop this poor money practice “cash” entering millions and millions of dinars directly into Kosovo territory.

At the same time, the Serb community will not feel threatened or destabilized by such decisions. I think that's possible to achieve. It's not a pretend to find such a <x0 mode, Conjufca said.

He has already said that the CEC governor in Brussels has explained the implementation plan.
