The company that supplies the current north has only one declared worker

The company “Electricity”, which has claimed responsibility for the electricity supply of northern Kosovo, to the Kosovo Tax Administration, has declared only one worker. At the same time, a number of people registered for entry and exits have been seen in a survey of TIMEs before the facility. In this regard, no answers have been given in ATK whether there have been inspections for the number of workers and their eventual unwillingness.

With only a declared worker in the Kosovo Tax Administration, the company “Electricity” has claimed responsibility for the electricity supply of four majority Serb municipalities in northern Kosovo.

This company, which is registered according to Kosovo's laws, has only one worker declared it also in the Agency for Business Recording.

At the same time, his assigned work in his wallet includes supply, billing, and debt collection.

KOHA has visited the two facilities of the company “Electricity” in northern Mitrovica, and during its short stay, he has seen many people enter and come in, and they even recorded their movements in their special equipment for identify workers.

In the Kosovo Tax Administration, through a written response, they have confirmed that this company has declared only one worker in November 2022, for whom it pays taxes.

But ATK has not returned answers to other questions, such as whether its officials have inspected electricity for the exact number of workers, if they have filed a fine, or if they have prosecuted the case in other responsible institutions.

According to the Law on Tax Procedure Management, each employer should inform ATK of linking a labour contract the day before work starts.
But for employers who do not declare workers, there are also measures from ATK.
