You confirm that in today's CEC meeting, the report was released concerning the process of verifying signatures collected by four initiative groups in the organised petition in northern Mitrovica municipalities, Zvecan, Leposaviq and Zubin Potok and delivered to the CEC by the mayors of the municipal municipalities of these municipalities.
After the verification process, which included confirmation whether the people signed in the organised petition in the relevant municipalities are voters of those municipalities, the CEC reports as follows:
From the petition organised in the municipality of Leposaviqi, the CEC has agreed to verify the 3,030 complete signatures on 304 pages, of which, after comparing the voter list data based on a personal number, results in 2,905 petition signatories being eligible citizens of Kosovo vote in this municipality. The total number of voters in this municipality is 13,441 voters, while 2,689 voters make up 20% of the voter list. These collected signatures constitute 20% of voters in this municipality.
From the petition organised in Zubin Potok municipality, the CEC has agreed to verify the list of 1,576 signatures completed on 158 pages, of which, after comparing the voter list data based on a personal number, results in 1,380 petition signatories being citizens of Kosovo eligible to vote in this municipality. The total number of voters in this municipality is 6,732 voters, while 1,347 voters make up 20% of the voter list. These collected signatures constitute 20% of voters in this municipality.
From the petition organised in the municipality of Zvecan, the CEC has agreed to verify the list of 1,834 signatures completed on 185 pages, of which, after comparing the data on the voting list based on a personal number, results in 1,714 petition signatories being citizens of Kosovo eligible to vote in this municipality. The total number of voters in this municipality is 7,052 voters, while 1,411 voters make up 20% of the voter list. These collected signatures constitute 20% of voters in this municipality.
From the petition organised in the Northern Mitrovica municipality, the CEC has agreed to verify the list of 4,148 signatures completed on 423 pages, of which, after comparing the data on the personal-based voting list, results in 3,653 petition signatories being citizens of Kosovo eligible to vote in this municipality. The total number of voters in this municipality is 18,199 voters, while 3,640 voters make up 20% of the voter list. These collected signatures constitute 20% of voters in this municipality.
