Lord Cameron said the country will work together with the US and other partners to pave the way for the desperate humanitarian need “ ” in the region.
“We continue to call on Israel to allow more trucks in Gaza as the quickest way to get help for those needing”, he added.
The US announced earlier that it would build a port in the surrounding region to help obtain assistance in the area.
Officials said it would be built to allow more shipments of food, medicine and other essential items but would take weeks to complete.
The operation will not require American troops on the ground, with an official noting that the army has “unique capabilities” and can do things “alone on the open sea”.
