Two blocks of the Kosovo Energy Corporation -- A3 and B1 -- have been out of office from the early hours of the morning. While unit A3 has returned to work, B1 continues to be out of operation.
The Kosovo Energy Corporation has told Gazeta Express that the A3 bloc is out of office today at 6:39, but that it has been back at work around 13:13.
“U announce that the A3 unit of TC Kosova A unit, at 6:39 minutes, has left the job due to the T3A transformatator's range due to the act of electrical protection, thanks to the swift intervention of the technical commission, has become the assessment of the A3 unit's state, and after controlling all electrical equipment from the maintenance teams in co-ordination with production teams, it has been achieved for A3 unit to be back to work around 13:13. Currently the A3 unit is in operation and its state is stable”, said the response of KEK spokesman Skender Bucolli.
Meanwhile, the B2 bloc says it has stopped immediately after midnight due to the steady increase in water loss in the cable eye of the furnace.
According to him, the unit is expected to return to surgery tomorrow morning.
“While the B1st thermal power utility Kosova B due to the continuing increase in water loss in the furnace's pipe system is shut down today: 07.03.2024 at 00:15 minutes. TC Kosovo B experts have successfully managed to break out of corruption and are working on eliminating defects, and the unit is expected to be back in operation by the hour tomorrow; 08. 03.2024 around 3:00 p.m.
To halt this unit, KEK says “conform public supplier deals has been announced by times”.
