US blacklist, Miftaraj: When Balkan states fail to share justice, UN Takes Measure

The director of the Kosovo Institute for Justice, Ehat Miftaraj, has commented on the action of the US State Department, which has put three people from the Western Balkans yesterday, including former Kacanik Mayor Jabir Zharku. He has suggested that when the state of the Western Balkans fail to share justice, [...]
He has suggested that when the state of the Western Balkans fail to share justice, it is the State Department that takes measures and promotes rule of law in these countries.
In his account in “Facebook”, Miftaraj has written about the measures that such a decision entails.
The US Department of State “announced on Monday that it has declared “non grata” former North Macedonia Chief Chief Special Representative Katica Janva, current chairman of the Karpos municipality in Northern Macedonia, Stevco Jakimovski and former head of the Kacanik municipality in Kosovo, Jabir Zharku. When Western Balkan states fail to share justice and hold responsible those who undermine rule of law and public confidence in democratic institutions and public processes, we have State Department taking measures and retaining and promoting rule of law and democratic processes in these countries”, Miftaraj wrote.
He has estimated that the good news is that even a man of the justice system is involved in these lists.
Better when these lists include Chief Prosecutors of Western Balkan States, a message that, in addition to politicians and the prides of the justice system, no action or corrupt actions, promotion of the culture of inefficiency violate the values of rule of law and democracy”, Miftaraj wrote.
