Luxembourg's Foreign Minister has warned that sending Western troops to Ukraine would bring us to the brink of a third world war.

Xavier Bettel spoke of Anadolu at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Saturday about Europe's stance on fighting in Ukraine, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the upcoming EU parliament elections.

So we should avoid sending troops and continue to support Ukraine and the president [us] [Vladimir] Putin must understand that they made a mistake,” he said.

According to the minister, sending the troops to aid Kiev “would really be” the last thing to do. Earlier this week, French President Emmanuel Macron refused to rule out sending Western troops to Ukraine, where Russia launched a <x2 military special company” two years ago.

Bettel said Luxembourg supports Ukraine and also the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees, stressing that Palestine's women and children were victims and without money people could also die of hunger.

Luxembourg has continued financing of U The NRWA after a host of Western nations suspended their contributions on charges that its workers participated in the October 7th attacks against Israel. Regarding European parliamentary elections in June, Bettel said he wanted the Democrats to have the majority. / AA
