AAK requires that the dinar not become a “argument against the EU”, the VV mentions facilities for Serbian citizens

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) stresses that the government led by Albin Kurti is creating topics that are at the expense of citizens, such as the dinar issue, while the Vetevendosje Movement says the governor has clarified for citizens' conveniences in that part of the north, reports Online Economy.

From the VV have mentioned the facilities that the Central Bank is allowing for currency exchange, while AAK requires more caution so that this topic does not become <x0 times a row on the road to European integration.

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo chief of deputies Besnik Tahiri says the dinar economy has not had to be discussed at all in Brussels since Kosovo has been operating with euro currency since 2002. He says the government is creating topics that hinder Kosovo's progress.

The dinar issue is Kosovo's internal decision. The euro currency is now 22 years old and should not be discussed either in Brussels or anywhere else. The problem is that this government means to draw up some topics without any need that then turn into topics that hinder Kosovo's moving forward and in particular prevent Kosovo from travelling in shaping and strengthening self-international subjectivity. This has happened, so no dinar should be discussed anywhere, but it should be addressed with our Kosovo partners for finding a solution. The wave is the only dinar, but it is far more important that this does not give us any trouble in our journey towards our European integration”, Tahiri said.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Driton Hyseni says of the Online Economy that the Central Bank has offered much relief to citizens in that section of banking services.

The governor of the Central Bank gave the announcement concerning all the clarifications that have been needed to be discussed with all interested parties in Brussels about the facilities the Central Bank of Kosovo has offered for all citizens in the northern part of Kosovo in order not to have a problem with access to the” banking services, Hyseni says.

I consider that the CEC has the full will and willingness that any further clarification needed to be made for citizens in the northern part of Kosovo in order for them to feel fully privileged citizens to feel access to all banking services, including estimates in minimal or without the need to pay for them, but with other opportunities which are processed precisely by the measures Kosovo Central Bank has taken in order to facilitate all possible bank transactions for citizens in the northern part of the country<1>, he said. / EO/
