The strong winds that began last night have caused major material damage in the capital.
Director for Security and Emergency in the Pristina municipality Lulzim Fushtica has said that from last night there are over 12 cases that have been interviewed.
Last night's “are over 12 cases that we've interviewed in almost all parts of the city starting with Arberia, B Street, Sun Coast, Dardan” etc.
He has added that in the Prugoc village of Pugoc, the damages are greater, until he has stressed that fortunately besides material damage there are no injuries.
The Fushtica has appealed that citizens take increased care and avoid exits especially around parks because of the risk of falling branches.
The Directorate for Security and Emergency Emergency has also isolated the area around the capital's location in the neighbourhood “Arberia” in Pristina to prevent any possible disasters from strong winds warned from 20 to 80km/h, which will also bring material damage.
