In a TV reporter for KTV, Tonight, it was talked about the ambassador's salary increase, based on an arrangement for the compensation of members of the Foreign Service, coming in with the additions of children.
The diplomat is compensated for child spending under the age of 18.
The first child receives an additional ten percent of the monthly wage; the second child has eight percent; the third child, six percent; and for four and more children, an additional five percent of the monthly salary.
“5. The diplomat is compensated for the expenses of her/or her children under eighteen years of age (18), who reside with the diplomat in the waiting state: 5.1. The first child receives an additional ten percent (10%) of the monthly salary; 5.2. The second child receives an additional eight percent (.8%) of the monthly salary; 5.3. The third child receives an additional six percent (6%) of the monthly salary; 5.4. for four and more children, an additional five percent (5%) of each's monthly salary, says Article 4 of the Order.
But not all of the diplomats' children receive the same additions, as this links with wage cofficients.
According to the Law on Salaries in the public sector, the cofficiency for the ambassador's position is 12.8, which means his salary is 1,000 and 344 euros. But it is multiplied when other percentages enter.
Based on the list of salaries of Chiefs of Missions and General Consequents, which the MPJ has made available following the request for access to official documents, the paid to be the general consul in New York, Blerim Reka. His monthly salary is 6 thousand and 609 euros gross.
Following him is Kosovo's ambassador to Washington, Ilir Dugolli, with a monthly salary of 5 thousand and 798 euros. The salary of over five thousand euros also receives accredited ambassadors in Paris, Bern, Cambera and Ottawa. According to the salary list, the consul general in Struga, Agim Krasniqi, comes out to be with the lowest salary of 1,000 and 328 euros.
Children of diplomats with lower degrees have fewer extensions.
The minister in the diplomatic mission has the challenger, 10.4, while his salary is 1,000 and 92 euros. And the assistant minister, with a 9.8 cofficiency, has to receive a salary of 1,000 euros and 29 euros.
MPJ officials who have been involved in discussions on regulation, under anonymity, have said that determining the additions of children based on diplomats' cofficients constitute discrimination.
This regulation was compiled by the commission appointed by Foreign Affairs Minister Donika Grovalla. Topping this mission was Gigan Berisha, who now serves as head of the mission in Zurich. According to the proposed percentage index, Cyril is behind New York, with 4.20 percent. Berisha's monthly revenues are 3 thousand and 755 euros.
Berisha, but neither the MPJD has offered clarifications on what circumstances have been taken to the basis when income rates are established.
