Democratic League of Kosovo MP (LDK), Avdullah Hoti, has criticised the Kurti government for (don't) manage the energy situation in the country, describing as “propaganding” and unable to address the power reduction crisis.
According to Hoti, long power cuts are directly affecting the well - being of families and the difficulty of business activities.
He voiced revolting over a statement by the head of KOSST, which justified reductions as a result of <x0).
Long power cuts are affecting the welfare of households and are burdening business activity. Instead of seeking responsibility from KEDS, the government comes up with derogatory phrases that reductions are the result of economic development”, Hoti wrote.
He accused the government of demanding accountability from KEDS, using ridiculed statements that do not address the real problems of citizens and businesses.
The LDK MP added that the government has lost four years without taking any step towards building new energy capacities or preparing a plan for sustainable supply.
We lost four years. These propagandists did not start building new power capacities, but they did not plan to provide sustainable supply.
Hundreds of millions of euros continue to be spent on energy imports, which is going at the expense of the family budget through high bills”, Hoti added.
