According to her, in the agreement the SPS will reportedly propose to the court that Januzi account for the past time in custody, reports “Justice Trust”.
“Januzi, I read in the plea agreement and you agree on serving a sentence of between 24 and 30 months in prison, and the agreement also says that the SPS will recommend to the court a sentence of 24 to 30 months in prison and propose that the time you spent in detention at” be counted, the chief judge said.

Among other things, Januzi claimed to have discussed with his lawyer the terms of the plea agreement and accepted it after legal consultations.

As a result, the chief judge read the basis for which parties, including the accused, have agreed to plead guilty.
She said that under the deal, defendant Januzi has admitted to being part of a group seeking to urge witness 1 not to testify in front of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers through the promise of victory.
She chronologically explained the interactions between Haxhi Shala, Ismet Bahitari and Sabit Yanuzi towards witness 1.
Referring to what is said in the indictment, the chief judge indicated that on one occasion Januz had transmitted to the witness that Haxhi Shala and others would help the witness if he withdrew the testimony.
As a result, Januzi confirmed the actual basis of the agreement the parties have already agreed on.

Januzui was announced that in the event this plea agreement is approved, he was denied the right to appeal decisions. Consequently, Januz won't be able to withdraw plea or call for a change in the sentence.

As with Haxhi Shala, the chief judge for Januz read the points of the indictment that July 10, 2024 involved in the plea agreement.
According to her, these agreements include points 8, 9, 11 13 to 18 and 24.
On the other hand, according to the agreement, Sabit Januzi pleads guilty to the court concerning 2 and 3 of the July 10, 2024 indictment.
According to her, the 2nd item charges Januzi with obstructing official persons in performing official duties by participating in the joint action of a group between April 5th and April 2nd 2023 punishable with Article 17, 21, 28, 33 35 and 401house2) of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code and Article 15 (2) and Article 16 (3) of the DSF law. At the same time, the 3rd point charges Januz with intimidation during the criminal procedure with the promise of a gift or the other advantage of the same time period.
As a result, the chief judge indicated that Januz has pleaded guilty to these points.
