The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has said that KLA Veterans' Day is memory and glory for the unquenchable heroism.

The NLA Veterans' Day is the memory and glory of the unquenchable heroism. Today we honor and humble ourselves with deep respect in the face of the heroic work of Kosovo Liberation Army veterans -- men and women who sacrificed everything for the freedom of their homeland” -- Osmani has said.

Osman further said that December 30th is a date that embodys the immortal heroism of the legendary commander, Adem Jashari, and his family, who on December 30th 1991, held their first battle against the Serbian regime.

This battle was not just an armed confrontation but an act of courage that marked the beginning of a new era in the quest for freedom and state. They were joined by thousands of men and women who had mastered their homeland in the worst of times, thus becoming an emblem of our country. Eternal glory to the nation's martyrs and permanent respect for any KLA veteran”, President Osmani has said.
