Joy Vucetaj has received seven votes to appoint the chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Pec with a four-year term.
Vucetaj's vote on chief prosecutor took place at the 260th meeting of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, reports “The Justice Vow”. “It is confirmed that by 7 votes for the appointment of Joy Vucetaj chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Pec for four years, with one more likely for another”, Kosovo Prosecutorial Council Chairman Ardian Hajdaraj said.
Kosovo's Institute for Justice (IKD) has published the report, stressing that the process of selecting chief prosecutors was primarily meritive and transparent, more pronounced problems in the selection of the Chief Appeals Prosecutor.
