Izedin Bytyqi, MMPHI secretary, released from house arrest

Pristina's Foundation Court has interrupted the move of house arrest Izedin Bytyqi, Secretary of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, which was arrested on October 10th, in an action that rule bodies had developed over the misuse and suspicion of multimilone theft with the debt of water ambalagers from the ministry [...]
The news has confirmed for Albanian Post, spokeswoman for the Pristina Foundation Court, Mirlinda Gashi.
“You announce that at the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo for the break-up of house arrest in the criminal case against indictees I.B., due to the suspicion of carrying out criminal acts Misuse of official position or authority and criminal acts of ownership, control or authorised possession of weapons”, Gashi has said.
The Constitutional Court in Pristina, the ruling to cut off the house arrest measure against Bytyqi, has taken up by approval of the Special Prosecutor's request so the same is protected in freedom.
Kosovo's special prosecutor by December 2nd had submitted to the Pristina Constitutional Court calls for the break-up of house arrest measures for defendant Bytyqi, stressing that this prosecutor has taken investigative action in order to clarify this penal-juridic issue.
The pre-procedure judge is required to terminate the house arrest measure for the defendant, since the prosecution considers they have fired the causes for which this measure” is designated, Gashi stressed.
She has suggested that the same is required to lift house arrest measures and the investigation into Bytyqi into regular procedure.
The trial of the preliminary procedure came to the conclusion that the Kosovo Special Prosecutor's request is based, for cutting off the house arrest measure against indictees I.B. and criminal procedures against him would be conducted in regular procedure by defending himself in freedom”.
Otherwise, on October 9th, the Pristina Foundation Court had assigned 30 days of house arrest to Izedin Bytyqi.
