AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has attended the patriotic Liman Aziz Kryeziu Memorial Academy.
In a Facebook post, he said the deceased was martyred in the dark cells of Nis prison.
“With the discovery of the memorial plaque in Bubavec and the memorial academy in Malisheva, we preserve alive the memory of patriot Liman Aziz Kryeziu, who was martyred in the dark cells of Nis's” prison.
“Mayor Kryeziu represents the heroic resistance of our people in the face of systematic Yugoslav oppression. His sacrifice in 1947 reminds us that the road to freedom has been paved with great sacrifices”, Haradianaj has said.
