In his post, Shala stressed Krasniqi's sacrifice and vital commitment to free Kosovo, praising that this lack is felt even more during the holidays.
“This family is used to not having the family head at home because he spent his whole life being committed to his beliefs about free Kosovo,” writes Shala.
He recalled the difficult periods Krasniqi has been through: as a political prisoner in the former Yugoslavia, a Kosovo Liberation Army fighter and today, in defense of the fair fight of the people of Kosovo for freedom.
Ferat Shala also shared personal memories of Krasniqi, stressing his influence as teachers at school and later as inspiration for the road to illegal movements and the struggle for liberation.
His “Family should be proud of their husband, father and grandfather, Jakup Krasniqi, who is Kosovo's living hero,”, Shala concluded. This symbolic visit comes at a time of reflection and thanks to those who sacrificed for Kosovo's freedom and future.
