The Constitutional Court in Skopje decided on Tuesday that the 30-day detention of former Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi will still remain in force.
The measure will be implemented from the moment it is available to criminal prosecution organs.
This decision follows the complaint filed last week by Grubi's lawyer against the court's decision, which, with the Public Prosecutor's proposal, on December 17th had ordered the detention measure.
“Criminal Council, acting on the complaint filed by the defense of A.G., indisposed to the prosecution's organs, against the decision of the court of preliminary procedure, made a decision that rejected the defence complaint and confirmed the decision of the criminal procedure judge”, the Skopje Criminal Court announced on December 24th.
