Azerbaijan Airlines has announced today the collapse of the Amberer 190 aircraft flying from Azerbaijan's capital to Grozny, capital of Russian Chechnya.
The plane was forced to make an emergency landing about three miles [3 km] from the town of Kazakhstan of Aktau on the shores of Lake Caspian.

Doubts are that the plane could have defected as a result of the air crash of birds that affected its engine, writes Indexline.

The plane was transporting 62 passengers and five members of the crew from Azerbaijan to Russia, while it has become known that 32 people have survived.

There have been speculation that airports in that part of Russia are closed due to the fear attack, which occurred Wednesday morning.
This means that the nearest airport where an emergency landing could be made.
